Description
This is the second picture in my series named "First Snow". I really had fun doing the image and I love the mood I finally got there. I would love to see such a morning.
Used Terragen as base, but only the smaller mountains in the background are original, rest are own stocks. I also tried to improve my flares. And, of course as usual, some little details such as the pengiuns standing there an chilling

This beautiful work reminds me of a pivotal point in the story of the Trojan War as penned by Homer himself, not the fake and twisted crap we saw with Braddy Pitty. That moment is when Menelaus sees Helen standing atop the walls of Troy during the first battle. And as their eyes meet, the goddess Aphrodite sees their lingering love and decides to turn Menelaus' thought into reality. The thought that suddenly stopped time for the lovers was "Stand still, thou moment, for thou art beautiful".

so beautiful...the title, eternal moment, highlights the whole piece.
it's because it is eternal.
to see something like that....you don't need a camera..something that amazing, something with that much of an impact, will last forever in your mind, eternally...

oh, i saw something a little like this while staying over in Thailand once apon ago.
but, 1 it was not snowing, 2 there where no planets, and 3 i saddly dident have a camrea with me...
