1 hour speedpaints of the ten playable races in the Elder Scrolls games.
This was really interesting for me to do, I reccomend it to anyone who wants some practice, if you want a blank version just note me. I used the race sheets that Bethesda released as reference. [link] just googled 'Skyrim then the race'
Question for you lovely deviants, should I do Extinct/other races of Tamriel next or this same one but the genders I've missed.

I love the new Elves in Skyrim. I always hated the Elves of Tolkein and other fantasy genres.

I think you should do the other genders.
* I think the best two are the Argonian and Orc, which are very very detailed and show personality.
* I think the worst two are the Imperial and the Breton, which are quite generic human - the Imperial in particular looks really snooty, like she has a bad smell under her nose.
* All three of the elves are great (or all four, if you include Orsimer, but I already mentioned him).
* I can't work out whether the Khajiit is supposed to be male or female though (don't they usually wear jewellery of some sort regardless of gender?).
* The Nord creeps me out a bit because of his blind eye, but I shall blame my own prejudice for that.
* I really don't know what to say about the Redguard. It's a good painting, but she doesn't evoke "Redguard" to me. Doesn't help that I haven't touched Skyrim in 9 months, and Oblivion Redguards look quite a bit different, so that may be all. But to me she looks like an attractive Black woman from Earth, rather than a Redguard. (Sorry if that's a stupid comment).

The personalities they have, were both happy accidents actually, because I was working with unfamiliar faces, but I liked it and so the expressions stayed.
I don't like the Imperial much, I guess the human races didn't inspire me much and so I spent less time on them or cared less or somethig

Khajiit is male, that's why there's the mane things coming from his cheeks, the females don't have them.
Creepy Nords are good.
I think the Redguards in game are leaner than I've painted her. I started her out and thought she looked like someone I know and not a Redguard so much, but I liked the actual painting so in it went...

I can't believe this is a speed paint. My favorites are the Bosmer and the Redguard. I really like the facial features on the Redguard. I think that's the one that is the most expressive.

I find it easy painting skin and hair now, practice makes perfect I suppose, though I'm certainly not perfect yet. But yeah, 'tis easy to do it quickly when I leave the line work on.
She's my favourite as well. I'm thinking about maybe doing a piece with just her.
