Latest book cover commission for Maryellen Worrell. The book should be out in a few months. This was a fun piece to work on, lots and lots of detail went into it. There are always things I could have done differently or better, but I learned a lot and am relatively pleased with this. Yes, the foliage is supposed to be blue as the story takes place on an alien planet that looks very similar to earth, minus the blue leaves and grass. At some point over the next few weeks (when I have more time) I'll do a more detailed write up of this cover with some close ups of some of the details that I spent a lot of time on but no one will otherwise notice. The whole image, start to finish, was done in Clip Studio Paint.
