This looks like an illustration for a childrens book to me, for some reason. It has a playful feel to it, like the shoes might just get up and walk away. The brushstrokes in the background are quite lively. I like the texture on the insoles of the flipflops, and how the glaze you used for the shadow lets some of that texture through. It looks like a real shadow, nice effect.

Another great piece. The focus is nice and the shadows on the shoes are perfect. Without using too much detail you've still managed to capture your subject perfectly.
