Description A pick I had not gotten to upload for a while. Since working on a couple of commissions. Had a moment to up load it.

Always loved Rogue. Jim Lee's versions take me back to when I first started getting the X-men. Oh what a time to first see comics again...anyway I was going to do the green and black version but thought to try her popular jacket version. Had to try and do a wrecked Sentinel. For as big as they are they went down fast. Our tax dollars at work...

Always welcome to comments, good or bad.

Magnificent work! I love all the details on this! This is the level of workmanship I come to expect from you ... and you delivered with awesome skill!

I'm one of those few people who are NOT impressed with Jim Lee's work. Something about how his characters stand and move through the panels makes me feel there is something wrong. It's hard to explain. I got some of this feeling from a few artists back from the 1990s as well.

Thank you! Hope you are well. I know what you mean...just for me, Lee was the first I saw in Xmen...and it was detailed and different...If I'd only seen Arthur Adams run then and not 20 years later...my world of comics would have changed a great, great deal for the better....

If I may, you might try going back to some of the older stories that Chris Claremont wrote back in the early eighties where the New X-Men started. That's where I commonly think the X-Men were at their best. I also liked it when the classic X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, and Angel) did a version of "Ghostbusters" and where hunting down mutants in order to get them off the streets as X-Force.

Ah yes, as stories go I agree. There is a reason Claremont is still known. He really helped change comics... the new talent that came it, well it was a dream team of sorts over the years. But I was talking more on the art side of things, just on what influenced me as a young artist..George PΓ©rez was huge to me then.

the new "GhostBusters" Xforce...Yeah they really made it dark with the newer version...not sure I liked it as much...the art was interesting and a nice fit to the mood of the comic but very dark an bleak...and not sure it fit with a lot of the other comics at the time...been so long since I picked up a great deal of comics I have no idea if most are still around.

Claremont was a big influence on me as a writer and George Perez was one for my artwork!

I liked X-Force up until the Mutant Massacre which really turned my stomach.
