Thank you! Hope you are well. I know what you mean...just for me, Lee was the first I saw in Xmen...and it was detailed and different...If I'd only seen Arthur Adams run then and not 20 years later...my world of comics would have changed a great, great deal for the better....

If I may, you might try going back to some of the older stories that Chris Claremont wrote back in the early eighties where the New X-Men started. That's where I commonly think the X-Men were at their best. I also liked it when the classic X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, and Angel) did a version of "Ghostbusters" and where hunting down mutants in order to get them off the streets as X-Force.

Ah yes, as stories go I agree. There is a reason Claremont is still known. He really helped change comics... the new talent that came it, well it was a dream team of sorts over the years. But I was talking more on the art side of things, just on what influenced me as a young artist..George PΓ©rez was huge to me then.
the new "GhostBusters" Xforce...Yeah they really made it dark with the newer version...not sure I liked it as much...the art was interesting and a nice fit to the mood of the comic but very dark an bleak...and not sure it fit with a lot of the other comics at the time...been so long since I picked up a great deal of comics I have no idea if most are still around.
