firefox uses a different color palette, as does IE, try just upping the saturation and forget about safari at all?
and i dont see difference on firefox or safari (leopard here)

kan aan 3 dingen liggen,
photoshop werkt met zijn eigen kleurcalibratie op windows pc's omdat die niet zijn vooringesteld, daarvoor download hij een kleurprofiel van de adobe site,
maar als je een redelijk onbekende of weinig verkochte monitor hebt zal hij het niet kunnen vinden,
ten tweede kan het ook datzelfde kleurprofiel zijn wat hij met de afbeelding opslaat,
dan hebben we nog Safari in dit geval die hetzelfde doet als photoshop, of zo lijkt het, want Safari gebruikt een ingebouwd truucje (Wat ze nu ook bij HD televisies gebruiken), het verhoogd per definitie de saturatie op alle afbeeldingen, zodat een leek denkt dat het er beter uitziet op safari en dan safari gaat gebruiken (pure evil!!!)
dusss... no more using safari, aaand, either download the correct monitor calibration librairy, or kalibrate your monitor by hand, theres plenty of cool programs for that, and in that case, remove calibration from photoshop itself...

anyways do not fear for complicatedness, you should ask jaxe maby because a large portion of education on the GLR is about color management, in other words this isnt simple, and toeps should learn this herself as well... *buy a book!*

Well, I have the same problem with color profiles. At least, I create icc profile and now everything is ok. Try calibrate your laptop with QuickMonitorProfile and Gamma Panel.
