If this wasn't the traditional telling of the Selkie mythos...
"Dear...um...I should have told you my skin was not to be washed with the whites. A lot more than colors may bleed over. You might not want to put your shirts on for the next seven days..."

This is great, is it a one off or a series or a take on something? Well, it's lovely nonetheless, and I heard painting can be a bitch so kudos to you.

I like it, the soft colours and all, but I can't help but notice that the man looks kinda like that guy from Tin-Tin.

Thanks so much! I know, it's based off a sweater that my giant cousin wears that makes him look like a cozy hibernating bear.
I've always been really into selkie mythology, and this particular story (lonely hermit discovers animal-lady bride and shit goes down) has some hold on me that I can't quite figure out...maybe I will once I finish telling the story?
Thanks for your support!

Oh by the way, I'm not sure if it is meant to be made this way, but the two seems to be friends rather than lovers in my perspective, which is very hard to do so.
