I kind of felt required to include this figure. Anyone who knows their Herotodus can probably guess her main role in the end of the story as her main claim to fame. However, I have plans for her in this, The Epic of Cyrus.

The Scythians were once a force that terrorized the people of the Iranian plateau before being defeated by the Median Emperor, Cyaxares, and subsequently driven from the land. The various tribes of these warlike, Eurasian people were forced to eke out a living on the steppes. Until the King of Anshan, Cambyses, sought their help for an alliance to defeat the Medians. Their great chief agreed, sending his daughter with him. Her name was Tomyris and she was to play a significant part in the life of Cambyses' young son, Cyrus. She comes off as standoffish, proud, and more than a little bloodthirsty while dual-wielding axes and being a terror in mounted combat. However, she respects achievement. If one proves themselves, then she will give them her respect. She also highly values loyalty and family.
