I really love your cosplay! my friend got some advice from you in octoberΒ on how to do hers and it turned out really well at the con, she won best scary costume in a panel contest! so thanks for the help! Β

Do you have any tips for someone trying to cosplay as the crow? I used it as a Halloween costume, but now I'm trying to get more detail and i can't really see much in the movie or in the pictures I find.

Decent white bodypaint, black lipstick, liquid eyeliner and eye shadow for the makeup, kickass trenchcoat, old black tee (add "bullet holes" for effect!), good pair of boots and plenty of duct tape and electric tape! Don't go OTT with the eye/lip lines and it'll look awesome I'm sure! Make sure to post pics!

thank you for your help! I used Snazzaroo for the white and didn't add the bullet holes because it was my only plain black shirt. The boots I had hurt my feet but I had 18 people who knew who I was so it was totally worth it!

This is really good. Have never seen a The Crow cosplay there... am hoping to cosplay Eric Draven in October.

Thank you very much! I'm still rather tempted to re-do this costume... although I do have others lined up (H.U.N.K. and Leon S Kennedy from the resi series) over 2012, so we shall see!

Lovely! Going as Draven in October to Comic Con in NYC, my girl suggested it today when I was milling over who to go as. Since I already dress like Draven & just bought a wonderful pair of New Rocks to replace my old Demonia lace-ups I figured I'd accept her advice and go for it.
