Just a little reminder that in October it's time for
WHAT IS INKTOBER?
Inktober is a month long art challenge created by artist Jake Parker that is focused on improving skill and developing positive drawing habits. Every day for the month of October anyone participating in the Inktober challenge creates an ink drawing and posts it online. Remember to use the hashtags #inktober and #inktober2019 if you want your art to be seen by everyone.

No, you don't, you can make your own.

WILL watercolorists ACCEPT INKTOBER ARTWORKS TOO?
YES, but also for Inktober artworks the same rules apply:
In the description box of the artwork the art media used to create the artwork needs to be mentioned.
Artworks must be presented properly. Your artwork can't be shown together with art materials, notebook wires visible, surroundings of the artwork. We only accept the ones which show the artwork itself and nothing else.
WE HAVE SOMETHING NEW FOR YOU!
We will have a separate folder for artworks created for Inktober.
We will accept ink paintings and drawings.

Well, the only rule is 1 artwork per day. Yes, there is an official prompt list, but to help people who struggle to find ideas for what to draw each day. Other than that there are no art subject restrictions or styles. Everyone draws what he or she wants :3

Yes, the main goal of the challenge is that you create each day 1 ink artwork. But since many can't keep up with it, they do artworks for as long as they can and then stop, or maybe only make an artwork on weekends, or once per week.

No, sorry, you can't...it's meant for traditional artworks only, that are created with the ink of any type.

Yay. This will be my first time partaking. 2 questions though.
1. Can i substitute Drawing ink for Black wartercolour paint?
2. Can i use coloured drawing ink?

Well, I'm not the master of Inktober
The official rules are written in the webpage given:
inktober.com/rules
But from my point of view...
the purpose of Inktober is to use ink of any type. The ink is a very different art media than watercolor, so it's not an exact same challenge.
Like I said any type of ink is welcomed, so I see no problem in using colored ink.

yeah... it's going to be my 4th year taking part in the whole challenge
getting used to good drawing habits is the thing I'm looking for

Mine will be the 3rd try...the first one I barely made it...last year's was catastrophic...but I had reasons...this year...will try

Well, the first one I did it all...this year's only 8 I think
The first Inktober was also successful, the previous year I made only 6.
Right now it doesn't look good either

there is such a thing as time and that's the limitation of any artist's plans
