Description
First of all, I have to apologize for uploading this half-finished work. There are lots of things I have to change (the background for example and other details) and there are even more things I have to add (I have to cover the rest of his body except for his head in the Color of Armament and add more flames, because I kind of imagined him being able to set his whole body in flames after some more fights and more training. If he can do this with one arm, why not with the rest of his body? Gear 2nd applied to his whole body, though he can use it partly now. This way he won't need that stupid flame fruit of his brother's). But I kind of sank into a hole of motivationless after I realized that I've missed my chance to lay hands on a code for the sneak peek of the second Hobbit movie yesterday... If there is one single thing I love even more than One Piece, it's the Tolkien universe (and that really means something) so I'm really inconsolable about having missed that (imo) big event, especially after all the awesome things I've heard about it in the last 24 hours...

But back to this picture:
There are two scenes of future events in One Piece that I can imagine quite lively: Luffy's fight against Blackbeard and the end, let's say the last two pages or so. Since I wanted to try out something new, I drew this Luffy-seeing-Blackbeard-and-is-ready-to-fight-scene, where I tried to draw fire and smoke. Though the smoke looks like shit (because I've done it after my motivational depression xD), I think for my first try the fire looks quite bearable^^
Why the over-angry expression? Because I can so imagine Blackbeard killing Shanks (in my opinion Shanks has to die, namely in a duell against BB. Luffy needs real motivation to fight to death against Blackbeard, making it worth an end fight. BB might be responsible for capturing Ace, but the one who killed him was Sakazuki, so Luffy will get his revenge for Ace by defeating Sakazuki. So we need another trigger for Luffy to kick BB's ass, and right now I can't imagine another scene than Shanks dying at the hand of BB. Or rather nearly dying, so that Luffy can give him back his hat before going against BB. So the reason why Luffy doesn't have his hat with him here is because it's with Shanks.

Okay, enough talk. I'm babbling too much every time.
