Feels like Cristmas. Very beautiful lights, ice and snow covered tress are marvelously done.

Thank you. I like Christmas very much so it usually inspires me to create some of my more striking paintings.

What do you use to paint these? I want to use it to!

Oil paint. Mostly Winton brand. Only use Titanium white, no other white paint.
Also, I just use mineral spirits- no linseed oil or turpentine.
Β Plus, tiny brushes and patience.
It usually takes me about a month to complete a painting, sometimes longer.

This is some insanely stunning landscape! The snow on the trees is amazing and don't get me started on the crazy icicles!

Thank you. It's kind of strange that I like to paint Winter scenes while living in Florida all my adult life. My childhood memories of Winter and my fondness for the weird but beautiful are what fuel my imagination.

Another great one! I like it that there is a focal point, many of your paintings have almost the same amount of details all over the place, which is nice to discover, but I rather like images with a more clear composition and contrasts (with some rather "empty" areas).

Thank you. I'm influenced by Bosch's 'busy' paintings but sometimes I have a tendency to put almost more detail on the edges of some of my paintings than the middle.
I would like to do 'quieter' more moody paintings from time to time.

Thank you, Tara! The original painting looks better than the photo- the sky, especially. It's a bit more purple and pink than what is shown here.

Thank you, Tara. My friend Susan at my gallery is a sculptor and she has the same problem. Sculptures are literally 3D which means you have to inhabit the same space as they do to fully appreciate them rather than relying on 2D photos of them to go by.

Coral reef is good. I was just thinking of ice formations with some kind of rocks and trees underneath.
The three luminorphs at the top were painted from photos of jellyfish and a sea snail which I modified. The lower two were made up.
