He has big brown eyes...when they are open! I have heard similar as well, most of the time he thinks he is a mechanic and comes home covered in oil from peoples cars...not good when you have masses of white fur;o)

My cat sometimes thinks the same We don't let him go out because he's castrated ('normal' cats will bite him) and very trusting (everybody could take him home and I'll never see my lovely cat ). But when the door or window is wide opened, then he escapes The escape for him means nice time spent on sitting under somebody's car... When we catch him (usually for olives ), he's all in car oil and we must clean him
