Description
Despite all my efforts to be true to me, they are not valid in the eyes of others.My mind -my imagination- squanders reality.
It ponders my being of something that can't be and never will be.
I find myself immersed in days where I'm paralyzed in sorrow and unforgiveness;
It's a cruel torture that nobody is imposing other than myself.
The days I can momentarily break free are a tease of freedom and self gratitude.
The chain is loose as I wander away and forget the pains that had kept me there.
But, conflicting interests tighten the chain and bring me back where I had been.
Demons are allured by my oddities.
The creatures nurture off my natural self.
They hover when I'm being untrue when I attempt escape of who I am.
Self acceptance is not appealing, but necessary to move on.
I crawl into a scream.
