Description
This is one of the roughs for the bible project myself and my partner did. The bible is called "My first Message".This was a fun one to do. You usually see Jesus happy and smiling, it was nice to draw his vengeful side. It's part of what makes him real.

I'm starting to read the bible starting with Matthew as part of Lent.
you draw a very dramatic looking Jesus. I believe in Matthew or one of the other books of the Gospel he also is whipping around a rope driving out the shoppers and money changers. Sad to say if he tried this in a modern supermarket, trying to tip over an ATM machine he'd be arrested on the spot. I know that's not the point of the scene, he was angry that they were buying and selling in a holy place. It'd be like holding an auction right on the alter of your own parish. Great pic.

I couldn't help but laugh at the expression on all the faces. I love the subtle destruction on the inside. Ok, well I think it's subtle.

I like the look of the money-lenders and market-goers. They have a feel to them like they belong in that time period and place.
