Description
Clampy is a male Platybelodon from Kenya during the Miocene epoch. Clampy is a happy, friendly, goofy and bubbly Platybelodon who loves to help out his friends. He is sometimes clumsy and noisy, but he does try to do a good job in certain situations. He and his kind are in a family of mammals called the Gomphotheres, which are the cousins of modern elephants. He has tusks that curve downwards, small sharp incisors to strip soft leaves off of branches, and the large, flat teeth on his lower jaw are capable of shoveling up plants off the ground and in the water, and they act like an axe for stripping bark from trees. They live in lush tropical swamps where there is water and they travel in herds of 6 or 7.
