Elasmotherium is a gigantic rhino that had a massive horn that covered the top of its skull. It was used for defence and for fighting. When two males fight, it is similar to how medieval knights do combat with swords. The Elasmotherium was also thought to have a connection to the mythological unicorn, seeing as the horn was on the very top of the skull, and that rhinos were also related to horses. This large, gigantic beast lived in Eurasia during the Pleistocene Epoch.
