Ichthyostega is a large amphibian from what is now Greenland, during the Devonian period. It possessed legs and lungs to help it breathe oxygen. Ichthyostega navigates its ways through shallow swamps, thanks to it's slimy body. It also lived in the same period as another amphibian, Acanthostega.
