...So...you know how I introduced Rainbow Dash as my FINAL Fallout: Equestria piece?....Yeah. I lied.
The unofficial 7th of the Mane 6, author of the Wasteland Survival Guide and proprietor of Absolutely Everything (We Do Deliveries!)...Ditzy "Derpy" Doo!
I really couldn't finish my F:E Fates series without Ditzy Doo and her new adoptive daughter, Silver Bell. Not only is Ditzy an integral character in Fallout: Equestria, but she's the only member of the original series that (really) got a happy ending. It took over 200 years, but Ditzy finally has the happiness and recognition she deserves!
Ditzy is my favorite character in MLP. Not because she's stupid (because she's NOT, gorramit!) but because she's awkward and clumsy and still manages to keep trying really hard, even when people really wish she wouldn't.
From the way she was written, I suspect Kkat saw the same things in Ditzy that I do...And I'm glad someone does.
...I'll get off my soapbox now.
Fallout: Equestria belongs to Kkat, MLP:FIM belongs to Lauren Faust.

Derpy was all the more remarkable was that, confronted with a fate almost too awful to imagine, she decided to do good.
In a world turned into a hell and trapped in the body of a monster, she kept the integrity of her spirit. She did not succumb to despair, try to end her life or even become a monster in action as she was in form. No, instead, she decided that, as fate, luck or the Divine had chosen to spare her, she would make use of this time given her to help as many as she could. She would prove herself worthy of survival by ensuring that others do too.

Ditzy is and always will be my favorite character from FoE. As for how she's portrayed in the show, I think this says it best.

You know, that's a good idea...I guess Ditzy and Lion's relationship never really stuck with me, too hard. Aside from some hilarious moments pulling a skywagon, I never felt like I got a sense of Lionheart's personality past the whole "undead paladin" thing...
On the other hand, I did see a lot of Ditzy's new life with Silver Bell, and the whole heartbreaking parallel between Silver Bell and Dinky...from the time I started, I knew Silver Bell had to be in this pic. (Unfortunate note, has anyone realized that there is a crushing lack of not-crazy Silver Bell pictures?!)

Silver Bell's horn was also regrown and by the end of the comic, she was starting to be able to use magic again (albeit very weak spells)
