Description
I began a series starring the Mane 6, depicting their ultimate fate...or at least, their fates as according to Fallout: Equestria. I was only able to finish Applejack, thus far. The rest will have to wait a bit, while I go to school and practice my style.If you are interested in Fallout: Equestria, be warned...This series is going to be spoiler-heavy.

Not all of them lost their lives in a flash of light and heat. For some was granted a far more terrible fate - to be exiled until death in a great stone tomb of their own making, always wondering and never knowing the fates of the loved ones left outside.

The fate of both Applejack and Sweetie Belle is a rather conflicting one.
Yes, they've survived the apocalypse and they were able to get to their Stable in time. But at the same time the country they both lived in and tried to protect is all but destroyed, most of their friends and family are either dead or missing; to Applejack: the destruction of the world means that she ultimately failed to protect her friends and loved ones; and to Sweetie Belle, they had to use the Stables, the very things designed to shield many from the megaspells but also the very things she had hoped would never have to be used.
But at the very least they were able to have families of their own and continue their respective family lines.

At the very least, Applejack and Sweetie Belle had foals, so they had someone to love and to love them back.

This is wonderful! It's sad, but they had best ending and Applejack got to live out her life.

"Best ending" is relative. It heavily depends on a viewpoint ... what if they (and especially SweetieBelle) prefer to just die? I would probably go crazy like in 10 minutes of being closed in stable/vault.
But yes, objectively speeking, they had the best fade out of mane 6 and CMC. (Well definitely better than Scootaloo TT__TT).

Out of everyone else, Applejack and Sweetie Belle got off, if not easy, than at least better than the others. Yes, they lost a lot of friends, but they at least lived longer than any of the rest.
