EDIT -- Updated the image with the completed version of the panel. I'm going to see if they want to use it in the official hardcover -- END EDIT ---Preview for a comic I want to make.
Basically, "Littlepip & the Gang" have a big, awesome, no-holds-barred showdown with a gang of Mercenaries. If you've read Fallout: Equestria, then you're probably shitting your pants at the thought of something like that. I know I am!
Yes, I know, her Vault uniform design is off. But that's because she's wearing the up-armored version.
And that is not the Zebra Rifle, because I do not want to spend all day drawing ponies on fire. Fire is hard to draw.

I've never been sure how one cosplays as a pony... I always picture two people in a horse costume for some reason.

my bro made a fallout costume with a pipe boy and a 101 jump suit last a laser rifle. im going to use his pipe boy and jump suit, then take by pimp rainbow dash air soft gun put it at my side. not to seem like a spammer but if u want to see the airsoft gun it its on youtube.

lol... Pip looks bored and angry. It's probably a scene from FO E that I can't remember, but if I had to guess her thoughts right now I'd go with "Oh my god. I'm going to have to waste so many bullets on these fools, and with my luck I'm going to be covered in their blood by the time I'm finished, and then I'm going to have find SOMEWAY to clean off, and if I get shot I'm going to get an earful from Velvet, and Calamity'll be laughing and it'll slow us all down. God damn it!"

It's not a scene from the actual story, nor is there any moment where it would actually fit INTO the story. But yeah, you basically just summed it all up.

Pffft. Steelhooves could take those guys out in his sleep. Assuming he is present in this comic. There are occasions where he is... unable to attend.

This is one of those occasions, unfortunately. I want this to be a straight-up gunfight, and Steelhooves would decimate these guys.

Oh. I counted 11 in this picture. Wait, do you mean decimate in the sense that they'd kill 1 out of 10 of those guys? Or decimate as in, kill all of them? People tend to not know what that word means.

I used the wrong word, there. Decimate CAN mean "to almost destroy something" but... yeah, 'annihilate' would be more appropriate.

Fire is easy to draw if you know how!
If you have photoshop, use difference clouds in orange and black on a layer. Set layer to overlay. Use smudge to shape the flames. Use eraser to get rid of what you don't want. Example: [link]

Actually, they can all use guns. In the story, larger guns are mounted on a saddle and fired with a mouth-bit, and smaller guns (say, a pistol) are just held in the mouth.
I'm sure that's... an awkward explanation, but I'm taking a few creative liberties in the comic. Unicorns have an advantage in combat though, they just aren't as durable as earth ponies.

How dare you not support blue, however. How. Dare. Thee. That said, when I look at Pip, her face and how concentrated she is, how much ass she kicks, I get a copper color vibe from her. But hey, you're the artist.

I've seen many variants. But in the end, it's gotta be green. Her entire appearance is left purposefully vague by the author, save for the fact that she's small, a mare, and wears blue.
I think John Joseco defined her appearance for fans, but it's still kind of like the Default Commander Shepard. Everybody's Littlepip is a little bit different. Some people have her eyes a copper color. Some have her IME as blue.
Anyway, Croswynd came up with an OC for the Mercs. I like her. I think you will too.

Her IME is... well, I don't know what it is. It's never explicitly stated in the story.
However, some fanart has her IME as green... and in most fanart, her eyes are green. And the screen of a Pipbuck is green... and, well, I like green more than blue.
