I think the human shadow really works in this composition

An excellent shot, but I would have cropped out the shadow as well. Because the shadow stands out so much, its distracting from the lines going off into the distance.

love it. Maybe put another version out cropped without the shaddow. The shaddow distracks the eye. Other than that brilliant!
