these are two logos I did for a local chicago animal shelter. They liked both but use the right design as their primary logo.these were created using illustrator cs2 the pen tools and some of the other shape modification tools. also the cat logo on the right was colored in photoshop cs2.

oh thank you I'm glad you like it. As for my advice try to focus on what your clients may want from your service as well as who your target client is. For example you are dealing with Pet owners so you want something that says all types of Pets, also you want people to understand you are responsible and trust worthy. Explore designs that reflect who you are and what you do. I would recommend not using any sort of stock images because you may look to generic and try to stay away from something too formal,you want to look professional but still down to earth and appeal to every day people.

unfortunately the dog and the cat images belong to another animal group but I would be more than happy to produce to new image/graphic for your shelter. just pm me with the specifics
