Despite being completely twisted and messed up, Giselle is not only my favourite Femritter by far, but also one of my favourite Sternritters. She has excellent characterisation, a unique design and is just plain weird. Plus her zombie battle against Mayuri, Ikkaku and Yumichika was actually pretty good.
I hope you like her! (Yes, I think she's a girl)

You think she's a girl? From what the other characters said I feel like she isn't, but that she identifies as one (transgender) so calling her a she is the most respectable, preferred title.
That being said SHE is one of my favorites too, which is weird because I'm not normally fond of sadistic characters.

I've always seen her as a girl to be honest. Yumichika is well known for attempting to antagonise opponents based on their appearances and from the way Giselle reacted, I always thought she was just offended, rather than surprised at being caught out. But honestly, I really have no idea haha. Thank you!!

I was looking on her wiki page yesterday because I was planning on drawing her vollstandig soon and in the trivia section I saw that apparently they released an extra or something that identified her as being biologically male, though from her reaction to Yumichika's claim it seems as though she identifies herself as a female so I think that's the appropriate thing to call her
