He's one of the captains we definitely need to see more of, alongside Rose. Here he is in his pre-timeskip outfit. I always thought it was incredibly weird the way Kubo had him square off with Wonderweiss only just to completely drop it.
I hope you like him! One more chibi left in this set!

I do agree that it really feels like Kubo is shitting on them. It's such a shame what happened to Kensei and Rose - they both have awesome abilities that I'd have loved to have seen more of.

Kensei is my favorite Visored.. how Kubo is treating them is really unforgivable ;(
If I had the ability to do Manga I would do like you were doing and make some alternative fan-made battles/what not, after Rose was seemingly killed by Mask with a hole to the chest I would have had his Hollow Powers take over like Ichigo's did when he suffered a similar attack from Ulquiorra, Rose would have fully hollowfied and would have fought and defeated Mask. Renji could have fought one of the other Sternritter like NaNaNa who we barely got to see any of.
If Kubo was actually taking his time on the series he could keep it going for several more years, but i've heard he is being rushed by JUMP

Hmm, I'm not sure about him being rushed or not. We'll only really be able to tell properly once the series is over. I think it's honestly more to do with the fact that Kubo has more characters than he can deal with. Some characters have to be pushed to the side - and when you have fan-favourites, 'major' characters like Renji, then they're bound to take the spotlight, especially in the final arc.
It's a shame too, as Rose is one of my favourite captains. I way prefer him to Renji. What I would have done, was I would have had Renji defeat Mask like he does, but then he gets surprised defeated by NaNaNa, who then fights Rose. So that would have given NaNaNa and Rose a fight, plus it would have followed up on NaNaNa stalking Renji and Rose and NaNaNa's original showdown.

I don't have many problems with Bleach, but that is one thing I just absolutely hate - when Kubo creates something and then just for absolutely no reason drops it. There was no reason for that NaNaNa scene if absolutely nothing was going to come of it. So annoying.

I just wish the fight scenes were all as long as they used to be..
Honestly, I wish the Anime would come back.. added Music, extended scenes.. i'm sure it would regain a lot of popularity.

I would love the anime to come back. The problem is, you can't please everyone. The Pernida fight was really long (and I really liked it) but people felt it was too long.
