Description Stuart Sutcliffe, former bassist of the Beatles before McCartney. Drawing made by pen, background and signature by photoshop.

Stuart Sutcliffe sometimes played that way, turning his back to the audience, so people couldn't notice he was playing the bass badly.
That little story is kinda important for me. I dunno, it's kinda sad.

Thanks a lot, dear! Dunno if I'll do more of these, though, twas the inspiration. I guess. ^^" And well, I think I come back to that very sober black-and-white style that you didn't seem to like so much, so...

I really like this one. The style reminds me of some dark old comics I used to read when I was a kid.
For the way you did the leather and the cross-hatching.
I read that he used to play like that cause he didn't play bass so well... so he kinda hide it.

Good drawing!

Aw, thank you so much! And thanks for the fave too!

Yeah, I'm very influenced by comic books. Mostly Batman comics. I read a lot of Batman comics, and some artists working on a Batman story inspired me (like Tim Sale and Miller). One of my big inspiration sources for the comic style is also the comic "A history of violence", which has brilliant graphics and crosshatchings.

Hm, that's what I put in the description, yeah. x) Apparently he didn't play the bass very well indeed. That's also why I love that guy. Trying to play the bass just to make John happy (that's mostly that), even if he had to get through the humiliation of playing back to the audience... Respect.

Wow.
This is GREAT!
You captured his emotions so well, I love how much you can see of him by looking his face expression.
Well done! (:

Curious, I was SURE Stu was barely recognisable! ^^" But everyone says it's like him, so I guess it must be! Thanks a lot, dear, and thanks for the fave too! I'm very glad you liked it!

Stu, the forgotten Beatle. You did a good job of capturing his moodiness. Love the photoshopped wall, btw.

I wouldn't say he's the forgotten Beatle... He didn't really want to be a Beatle anyway. The only forgotten Beatle for me is Pete Best. ^^"

Oh, thanks a lot! But the wall was the easiest to do, ahaha! ^^"
