Sorry Tim for being so late to reply!
The new system is superb. I actually optimised it for gaming rather than art and the great geeks who built it for me were VERY complimentary about seeing a proper "games" machine being specified. So, that means that I've been spending more of my time actually gaming than creating. I bought Poser Pro 2014 and while it a great improvement over Poser 7, there are so many "new" functions that I'm struggling to learn. That means test images and renders (WsIP) rather than proper renders - and of course, for my own satisfaction, there are images I can't post here or anywhere really!
Trying to teach myself animation, that's very frustrating!

Wrestling with the interface a bit. (Why do I have TWO "My Documents" folders on the same drive that won't merge?) It doesn't allow me to do things that I should be able to do. I have full Admin privileges but .....
In short - I LOVE the speed & stability (not that XP was unstable) I managed to flatten one of my master graphics/recolouring files in Paint.NET in order to save a working texture and now I find that it's not recoverable - there's three year's work gone!.
At least I can now retreat to Steam for some gaming without much lag or latency. Working on single images only at the moment, but I have a new series in mind. I developed Morchir-Urban Elf to be the villain in this series, because I've been playing with transferring character morphs for MGPT and I have some lovely girls (about 10-12 years) that I can't publish here.
There are some conversations from Zrincx (remember him?) on the Faeriewylde forum which ALMOST convince me to look at D|S again, but I think I would want another 2Tb drive before I made that choice, just to keep things separate.
