This is certainly one of your best work. The hyper-realism goes well with your strive for accuracy.
But I am curious about what is happening in the terrain. Is that a slope, and cycad trunk is leaning on the ground? Person who saw your drawing said Hausmannia seems to be growing in wrong place considering that it is a ground plant.

Yes, it is growing out of a slope, I was inspired to do this whole piece by this image: www.rarepalmseeds.com/images10…
The comment about Hausmannia is dumb, modern dipteridaceae will grow wherever they can get a foothold, especially when they are young, as these ones are.
