This piece is for my favorite girl, my friend nicki, who also inspired the "Stargiver" digi-painting. She really likes angels so for her birthday I put this work together. Its a depiction of the leading edge of the suposed 12 legions of angels at the ready to save Jesus from crucificiton. The finished version is 40" x 20" at 110dpi. Photoshop CS, about 20 hours( i didn't keep count)Related content

I like this one very much. It only goes to remind me all the more heavily that I have to get my art creation out of the 19th century and start actually taking advantage of the excellent digital painter programs out there.

aw, thanks. Its not so much talent, just lots a lots of practice. Mostly from being bored at parties.

and yes, I need much practice. Sometimes I think it's easier just to paint rather than try to simulate paint digitally.
