Well he said it himself that capturing those two protectors would summon a death squad towards him. How does he have more power to control them anyways, if its the protector's jobs to stop those kinds of people?

The dark Forces of Catastra wanted this Power as an Edge against the Valorium Hyperions. The Hyperions in Return wanted to establish a Legion their, but Siestia Interjected and Said she had a plan. Use The Astral Magic of Lastra to make Heroes to fight the darkness. The Lord of Valorium Established that she may establish her plan but if she fails she'll be on her own. The astral Lords agreed to Give her access to that Power as Long as she Didn't use it against them.
