Id love to improve on flower painting...do you have any tips?

The best tip that I learned is to really pay attention to the shape and proportion of every detail. Individually each petal might look odd, but combined with the rest it will make sense.
Other than that, painting wise, is not to be afraid to experiment with different types of paint and techniques until you find something you enjoy doing and then practice, practice and some more practice.
