Here's Daken as a Lantern of Avarice. First off, I'm an avid fan of Daken and totally got into his character during all of Dark Reign. (Something about the classic Wolverine costume and the crazy tattoo and insane bone claws). During Seige, I lost interest and now, I'm not diggin' him so much (The new costume looks terrible. So terrible, I thought a little comic of Star Sapphire Deadpool teasing him about it).I did choose Orange because I feel Daken's more of a psychological character and his abilities with manipulation to get what he wants, makes me feel he fits more with Avarice.
The costume's sort of a planned out 'safe zone' because I do enjoy the old Wolvie costume, it's not Daken, it's Wolverine, so I stuck with plain pants and shirtless because of the insane tattoos he has!
All in all, I like the end result and hope you enjoy!

Yeah Daken's new costume does look stupid. Orange suits him he showed no loyelty do the Dark Avengers and openly admited he only using Osborn to get what he wants.

Never read much about Daken, so never really could get into him. But heard he was badass tho! I'll read up on him! But I havta admit, he's got cool claws and tats. Though, him kissing bullseye, woah that's new!

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, Daken's one of those characters who needs a writer who's willing to explore the possibilities he has (and his sexuality shouldn't really be one of them). I got into Daken when I first saw him (those claws are sick...anyone up for a claw shooting up out of your wrist?) and saw how manipulative and psychological he can be.
The actual part in the comics that got me pretty interested was his stand alone run during Dark Reign(Dark Wolverine 75-82?) The Seige tie-in was okay, but the books started to be tie-ins with other books and then I just got confused.

C'mon, he's got some insane tattoos and I wanted to show them off! He's never really shirtless, but if he was, I'm sure some fans would be like, "Oh look, of course he's shirtless, it's because he's gay."

I know that he kissed Bullseye. Heck, there's a comic out there that is just devoted to him possibly being gay. In all honesty, I think Daken uses sexuality as another factor of manipulation; it's not that he's straight or gay, it's that he can use that as leverage.
