Description One of the most entertaining Bill Peet moments in a Disney film is the Wizard's Duel from Sword in the Stone. Here's my homage... Hope you enjoy!

I wish there were more moments like the one Merlin and Min had! How many fight scenes have opponents changing into different animals?

Very cool pic, definitely a lot of Blue. For some reason I expect all the blue to start changing to pink.

I imagine that's a reference to the color of Aurora's dress in Sleeping Beauty, is it not?

Merlin could teach Prof. Mcgonagall a thing or two about Transfiguration (and Animagus transformation).

This looks great, really AMAZING!! Are you going to make one with Mad Madam Mim and all the alternate forms? In the Movie she shapeshifts to a Cat, Crocodile, Fox, Chicken, Elephant, Tiger, Snake, Rhino, Purple Dragon and Mim with the Hideous Pig Face and last my favorite Young Sexy Min.

Many have asked me to do the Madam Mim version. Frankly, I'm sure I will do it when I have the time. Her characters were such a great, aggressive counterpoint to Merlin's. I've also toyed with the idea of making Mim versions of the Merlin animals and Merlin versions of the Mim animals. Is anyone interested in seeing that?

ArcaneBlight In reply to toonbaboon [2012-03-15 02:27:23 +0000 UTC]

I am definitely interested in seeing that!

My favourite Merlin animal form from that scene is the Hare, and my favourite Mim animal form is the Dragon. It'd be wicked to see what they'd look like if their animal roles were switched.

Aaahhh, Bill Peet. What a great guy. Have you read his autobiography? Awesome stuff. You got his style down pretty well here! My fave Merlin has to be mouse-Merlin. I dunno - the fluffy mustache and his big ears do me in. XD
