Let's face it, if it wasn't for the fankwank that it'd cause "Batman: Under The Hood" should have ended with Batman beaten, bloodied and forced to listen to news reports of how each and every one of his Rogues Gallery turned up dead at the hands of 'Hooded-DC-Punisher'.

I personally don't have a problem with superheroes that don't kill(though, I do hold a special form of ire toward the fan-tards that praise their all-mighty Bat-God for it in the same breath that they condemn other characters like Superman for it), but unless the actual justice system is beyond irredeemably corrupt or actively helping the villains, it makes no sense why the Joker doesn't get put on death row after so many years of his murdery antics.
