Incoming Game of Thrones-related sketch-dumps...

Here's the Stark children, minus Rob but + Jon Snow.
These are more based on the books, due to their ages, although Arya isn't horse-faced enough. Oh well, next time.

And please, NO book-spoilers!

I really like these the best from you. Β They are so loose and fun. Β I always like the "sketchy" moments where you capture an emotion and moment very quickly. Β They are totally expressive, and you capture so much with what appears to be so little effort, the image is cut to the core and brimming with life.

More please?

BTW haven't read GoT so this is totally from an artistic POV, I have no fricken clue who the characters are, I just like how you have rendered the expressions.

I really love how Sansa's hair came out. Eloquent and detailed yet somehow still simple. Overall, a good picture.

Thanks; I wanted to try something different from the show, but honestly, I'm just in love with the colour of her hair... That colour is boss!

It is a pretty color to be honest. The gold bands in her hair match the color perfectly and help bring it out. I always love how the right colors help each other make pictures pop.

Absolutely; I honestly wished I had more sense for colours... most of the time I'm just guessing. I think my guesses are pretty ok, but sometimes it WOULD be nice to be 100& in control about it oneself.

Something someone taught me: mix and match colors via the color wheel when lighting and shading, if that helps. And never be afraid to try something out. I think that's my issue: I get too complacent with something when it works and only change my coloring/style when I get bored with it or whatever. I'm trying to break myself out of that box now.
