I've been pondering the same thing. He had the opportunity to get a free twofer with two pretty prostitutes and didn't take it. He flirts with girls in ways he knows will only annoy them (Amelia in the movie, Stephanie in the pilot chapter of the first manga series (Bonus at the end of vol 2), and Maryanne the lady marshal in the tv series). He's never flirted with either Meryl or Millie. He ditches those two every chance he gets. It's clear he likes females. So I'm thinking maybe he hasn't found the right one. Y'know: someone who has an extraordinarily long life span and is almost indestructible. I wouldn't recommend Chronica though. She's a free-walking plant too, but she tried to kill both of the brothers at the end of Maximum. Hmmm. I'd volunteer, but I don't meet his standards or anyone else's. Even if it were possible to meet him. *sigh*

poor guy, hits on every single cute girl pn the show and fails...actually every cute girl BUT the only one crazy enough to chase him through nuclear wasteland till the ned of the show. Those two deserve each other xD

Hehehe....poor Vashy, 150 years and yet the girls still seem to run the other way. I've often wondered about this...because all the girls in the anime always slap him and walk away, or ignore him. I mean, come on, he can't be THAT bad of a guy! I mean, if nothing else, he can be easy on the eyes....and yet they still ignore him.
Hahaha....I was thinking the same thing about that girl...until I thought about it for a second that then realized it wasn't Nick (and then I read your post and went "well duh, I am stupid")I was confused.
I love his confused drunk expression. Once again, he looks like he needs a hug. Honestly though, I do wonder if Vash really thinks about this sometimes.
