Owlmist is the new deputy of Fireclan, serving under Clovestar.

Owlmist is the daughter of Leopardstar and Mistyfur, and was doted on by her parents. Her mother died when she was an apprentice, and she became very close to her father as a result. After the mysterious death of her father, Owlmist investigated on her own and found out what really happened, making her a target for Fireclan's new leader, Icestar. With the help a few clanmates, Owlmist fled to Featherclan, where the former Fireclan deputy Cloveheart was taking refuge. Together, the two helped Featherclan plan an attack on Fireclan to take the tyrannical Icestar out. During her time there, Owlmist became very close with a tom named Sunbeam, and began developing feelings for him. However, she was determined to take back her clan, and pushed her feelings aside. After the defeat of Icestar, Cloveheart and Owlmist returned to Fireclan, and to her astonishment, Sunbeam came with them, having fallen in love with Owlmist as well. Once Clovestar became leader, she chose Owlmist to be her deputy. She has settled well into her new role, and she and Sunbeam are mates, awaiting the arrival of their kits
