My favourite is probably Super R-type, mostly due to its awesome soundtrack (the sort of secret continue song), but thank you and you're welcome, I plan on making more R-type art.

I had an idea for a BG when I started, now I can't remember what it was.

Most of the shape layers where smaller before I increased the image size, which resulted in making them choppy.

The glowy effects consist of one base layer of pentool shapes with inner and outer glow, then I added a big green/blue soft brush layer set to lighten, on the blue I added a diamond gradient map set to overlay, I think.
