Ciara's Egyptian Nightmare (Continued)

The horror of gravity was swinging beneath Ciara's feet as she heard the sound of blood pounding in her ears, and the gurgling struggle of her slender neck trying to negotiate even one precious breath for her poor dangling body.

Ciara's golden sandals clattered to the floor as she swung and kicked her legs wildly, tipping her stocking toes down, stretching for all their worth, hoping for even a scrape of ground: but there was none to be had as they wiggled worthlessly. She pried desperately at the cold vice-like grip around her neck, trying to peel back the withered fingers, already feeling herself weakening. Ciara was more scared than she had ever been in her entire life. Her fear-filled pleading tears were literally being squeezed from her terrified eyes. The young adventurer was sick at the thought of dying this way. She scratched and clawed with her nails, desperately fighting for purchase but she was running out of air in the mummy’s impossibly crushing grasp.
