Description
I've expanded on my Jennifer sci-fi character some more, and I wanted to do an old school anthology style cover complete with little pictures of other side characters. Old anthologies like Creepy magazine and Eerie magazine were my main inspiration. I'm still working on Jennifer's back story. Steele is the badass soldier type character who swoops in to bail her out...and secretly has a crush on her. Admiral Flapjack is the erratic boss who speaks waaaaaaay too loudly, and A-R-5-E is the sarcastic navigation bot who loves to poke fun at the shortcomings of the crew (especially Jennifer). It's funny how a simple, badly drawn doodle can spark inspiration and take on a life of its own. Drawn by hand and painted in Einked on my Chromebook. No photo reference used - it's all imagination.
