Eggman calls out to Sage because he needs her help with something but he didn't realize that she was taking a nap with her pet monster and now he feels a bit guilty for waking her up.And yes, Sage's pet is one of those super long illusion monsters that look like Infinite, from Sonic Forces; she named it Noodles because of its long, noodle like body. I thought that would be really funny 😂😂😂
