A quick little thing I did because (for those of you living under a rock) it was Canada's year to host the Winter Olympics once again.

I'm pretty patriotic, so I was really excited for the Olympics this year, and would have given most anything to be there. But instead, I watched from home, and I was still absolutely amazed.

Alexandre Bilodeau, winning Canada's first Gold Medal on Home Soil. He won in men's moguls.

Maelle Ricker, winning a Gold in Women's Snowboard Cross...and, there was a Lucky Loonie buried in the course.

Christine Nesbitt, winning Gold in Women's 1000m Speedskating.

Jon Montgomery, winning Gold in Men's Skeleton.

Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, winning the first ever Ice Dance Gold Medal in North America.

Ashleigh McIvor, winning Gold in Women's Ski Cross.

Heather Moyse and Kaillie Humphries, winning Gold in Women's Bobsleigh.

These are only a few of our Canadian athletes. I have a tremendous respect for each and every one of them, medal or not. We have some of the best athletes in the world!

This, though technically not the best picture in the world, goes out to all Canadians with all of my love, and I hope that you will give them some love too.
