Oddly enough, Merc's favorite time of the year is summer time. He loves heat for a very wierd reason and isn't the biggest fan of the winter. Strange, considering how HOT his long mane can be under the sun. It's a good thing he loves to swim, or else he'd be over heating every day.
Merc's longing for freedom and independence caused him to run away from the home where his brothers and sister were sent to live. He lives in the woods not far from that cabin however, and can sometimes be spotted roaming outside the yard.
