The young man whirred restless through his big tent. He already had double checked his gear and loaded his little gun. Actually it was tradition that the Tokotas Handler used a dagger or bow and arrow when they got into the wild, especially here at the Issorartuyok-Tribe, but Christopher couldn’t really handle any of it yet, so he would take the gun with him. He was not a good gunner neither, but with that he had a better chance to defend himself and Loki if he would have to.
He was a bit nervous because this would be his first hunt, the first time where he actually would have the goal for Loki to kill an animal. While he went down to the cave with Tana, he asked her if she could help him with task two and she had agreed. But because she would enter a normal build Tokota this time, only one kind of animal was possible as prey. A fox would hopefully die today, or they would fail the test, but it was kinda weird for him to think like that.

Lavender eyes scanned the slope down to the lake. Pandia had been scouting the woods closest to the tribe together with a human and had not that long ago picked up a scent of a strange tokota. Now it took her down the slope following the trail. Suddenly she saw it, a dark shadow that moved with the motion that only a dominant tokota had. The only difference were that...this tokota was small, like a half grown pup. It was headed towards another small shape already by the hole in the ice. She felt the human that sat on her back press her legs at her sides, a cue to slow the speed down. There was someone else already on the ice. The curly female tilted her head. Kiva had been sitting by the edge for about an hour, staring down at the moving silvery bodies like her eyes alone could dart down like the sharp talons of an eagle grabbing them. They were still not close enough, just out of her reach. Suddenly she caught the glimpse
