Here's the map of my minecraft castle/city that I've been building since way back. I could have a larger map in the castle's conference room, but it would require expanding the map wall quite a bit...This is just a relaxation project that I've been making both manually and with map editors. The castle is big and quite livable if I'd ever put it up as a server map. The castle has stores and housing for dozens if not hundreds of inhabitants if role playing.
I also have a smaller castle city further to the west.
The main city is divided into four areas: the Castle itself, the Outer Castle, Beachfront, Sand Quarter and Outer Quarter. The map isn't large enough to show any of the Outer Quarter and only a small portion of Beachfront.

If you did do a server would it be a private or a public server?

I'd most likely make it public, or just give the world file to someone interested in it. I have neither the time nor interest in GMing or administering it.

This contains the Region and Data folders for the world save.
Tell me if I need to add other folders of the save to make it work on your end.
Do note, it's pretty much under construction everywhere. The innermost quarters and the Keep are the only areas that are complete, except for the mineshafts and the Undercity.
Oh, and I'd like to ask you to keep the names on the monument in the graveyard. You can add your own and any other players' if you add buildings in the city.
I've downloaded and added quite a few objects from the minecraft forums.
The Keep contains a few secrets. Have fun finding them

I've had it as a single-player project.
I have considered setting it up as a server map, though. It could support a lot of players in a full-blown RPG setting.

Yeah, this would fit perfectly for roleplay. Tho you would have to use some scripts that allow protecting of the server by setting the whole area owned by you and only giving the editing permission to you. Griefers are everywhere.
