I'm in awe that there are places you can see the stars so clearly. We can see a lot where I'm from, but nowhere near this many!

I adore all the stars! You can't see them like this in my area.
Was the Temple of the Moon lit up or was it due to using a longer exposure. I apologize, I have very little knowledge and even less practice with night time photos. I have been experimenting some with the moon but that is all.

how long is that exposure?? do you have to shoot before the moon comes out?

This was 30 seconds, and no moon, we planned this trip during the new moon so the stars would be nice and brigtht.
