Description
By far one of the best parts about backpacking is finding yourself far away from civilization and the light pollution that comes along with it. The Windriver Mountain Range is a dark island in the sparsely populated state of Wyoming. With no major cities or human developments nearby and at around 10,000 feet in elevation, the night sky is truly a wonder to behold here. We were chilling by the campfire for hours enjoying every minute as the Milky Way made it's rotation across the sky.Windrivers Night Sky, Wyoming.
