Part 6 of my Hanna-Barbera action tribute series.

Opposite to the rhythms of The Impossibles lies its B-side, the riveting horrors of Frankenstein Jr. It's a show about young genius Buzz Conroy and his titular robot taking down master criminals and mad scientists with their equally colossal creatures to battle. If that doesn't sound similar, well... look at the meme title. Despite showing similarities, this was released 2 years after Gigantor (the localized name for Tetsujin 28) debuted, which is a classic anime about a boy and his giant robot fighting evil. Makes you wonder if Jimmy Sparks and Buzz Conroy would meet in a crossover fanart with their respected robots. And as an added bonus Frankie's played by Ted Cassidy! You know, Lurch from The Addams Family! This of course, would not be the first and last of many voice roles for Ted for years to come, as a year later he's Meteor Man of the Galaxy Trio, and even later, I think he also voiced Bluto in The All-New Popeye Hour. (Gonna double check on that last one, maybe...)
