This comic I've had in the bag ever since Hurricane Fluttershy. Feared someone would beat me to this idea. At 14:54 in the episode you'll see Cloud Kicker with derped eyes. Silly Derpy...Twilight just owned you.
Back to the cafe....it's not an easy BG to make....hope I didn't overkill it. Yes Muffin is in this.
Anyway...enjoy guys. Hope you got a laugh out of this.

Well... Think about it this way, Twilight. Derpy's eyes are PERMANENTLY like this while those ponies' eyes were like this for a short amount of time. Derpy is the best mistake that's ever happened to us!
