Let me just say this.... were SOOOOOOOO damn lucky to get this shot. We both had our camera's video taping in the exact same spot at the exact same time when this lightning bolt appeared out of nowhere on our campus. That strike was roughly.....1000 yards or so away from us and it scared both of us half to death. We were filming just under one of the dorms on our college campus.

I still can't believe what I'm looking at and that I caught this on camera. This is so clear and we actually had a fun arguement after it happened whether or not we saw 2 bolts or just one. Looks like it was 1 1/2. Nevertheless this is asily one of the best lightning shots I've ever taken and the thunder from this was LOUD. I mean LOOOOOUD! Barely a second after this strike the crack was like a whip or a shockwave passing through your body at a jet car drag race. It was INSANE but AWESOME! Though this storm did wreck a nice groove of drawing I was on....oh well.
